Advanced drive diagnostics

Victoria displays device identity and S.M.A.R.T. attributes, measures read speed and maps block response times. It works with HDDs and SSDs through the Windows API, supports SATA, some USB bridges and experimental SAS functionality.

Surface scanning

Scanning can reveal slow or unreadable areas, interface errors and unstable drive behavior. Graphs and a color-coded map visualize latency distribution, while the log records diagnostic results.

Important warning

Back up your data first. Read and Ignore modes are intended for non-destructive checks. Write, Erase, Remap, Refresh, Secure Erase and password operations can modify layouts, destroy data or stress a failing drive. Do not use them unless you understand the consequences, and never run a write test on the only copy of important files.

The archive is portable and requires no installation. It comes directly from hdd.by and its SHA-256 matches the official WinGet manifest. The executable itself is not digitally signed, which is disclosed here for transparency.
