Blender combines polygonal and procedural modeling, digital sculpting, UV unwrapping, texturing, and scene management. Blender Foundation develops it as open-source software under the GNU GPL.
Animation, simulation, and rendering
It includes rigging, Geometry Nodes, cloth, fluids, smoke, Cycles path tracing, and Eevee real-time rendering. Compositing, motion tracking, Grease Pencil, video editing, and a Python API are built in.
